reflection article
January's edition of Linux Magazine (http://www.linux-mag.com) features an article by BGZ's Matt Zandstra about a new element of PHP, the popular and powerful Web scripting language. Linux Magazine is a print publication, although it does place some articles online. Subscription details are available on the Web site.
The latest version of PHP, due for release within weeks, includes a Reflection API: a set of software tools that a enable a script to analyse its own make-up as it runs. Matt's article examines these tools in detail and includes a working example.
Matt is currently writing a book about object-oriented design with PHP. He has been commissioned to write a number of articles on the topic, and these should appear online in the coming weeks and months.
